Bronze is excellent for smooth pivoting applications, like the joint between the gas spring and the canopy arm clevis bracket on your sunbed. However, it tends to be a soft metal compared to the steel clevis fork. Pay special attention when lowering the canopy that the clevis forks do not damage the bronze bushings.
